ICP fit classification

Classify every company as a Strong, Partial or Weak fit for your ICP — as a dropdown you can route and report on.

When to use it

Fit lives in reps' heads and every list ends up manually triaged. This turns gut feel into a field you can filter, route and score on.

The prompt

We sell [WHAT YOU SELL] to [YOUR TARGET CUSTOMER — e.g. B2B SaaS companies in Europe with 20–500 employees]. Based on this company's industry, size and what they sell, classify their fit as one of: Strong, Partial, Weak, Unknown. Choose Strong only when industry AND size AND business model all match. Choose Unknown when you cannot find enough information — do not guess.

How to use it

  1. 1Create a company dropdown property with exactly the options Strong, Partial, Weak, Unknown.
  2. 2Fill in the two placeholders with your own offer and ICP definition.
  3. 3Choose Web research as the data source and preview on known accounts — good and bad fits.
  4. 4Pair it with a calculated score that combines the classification with deal size and engagement.

Tips

  • The AND rule keeps Strong meaningful — without it everything drifts toward Strong.
  • Always include Unknown; a forced wrong answer costs the same credits as a right one.
  • Re-run quarterly on active segments only, not the whole database.
