Overview

What you get

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the standard that lets AI assistants like ChatGPT and Claude read and act on your HubSpot data. Connecting it takes minutes; making it useful is the actual work. This service is an implementation-and-training sprint for teams already running HubSpot: we assess your portal and permissions, configure one primary AI workspace, load your business context — pipeline definitions, key fields, playbook — and make three agreed use cases work reliably against your real records. Think meeting preparation briefs, pipeline review prep, and follow-up drafting with approved CRM updates. Then we train your admins and your team, hand over documented prompts with a named internal owner, and come back at day 30 to check what's actually being used. And we'll be straight with you up front: if HubSpot's native connectors already cover your needs, we'll say so.

How it works

A clear, repeatable process

01

Assess

We review your portal, permissions, data and candidate use cases — and flag anything that needs fixing before AI touches it.

02

Connect & validate

We configure the workspace, load your business context, and test each use case against real records until it's reliable.

03

Train

An admin session and an employee workshop, hands-on in your own setup — people leave having done the tasks, not watched them.

04

Hand over & review

Documentation, prompts and ownership transfer to your team. At day 30 we review what's used, what's not, and why.

Outcomes

What changes for you

Your team runs meeting prep, pipeline reviews and follow-ups with AI — reliably, on your data

A documented setup with an internal owner, not a demo that fades after week one

Adoption measured at day 30 instead of assumed at handover

A clear answer on when native connectors are enough and when custom work is justified

Frequently asked questions

Isn't this just clicking HubSpot's native connector?

The connection itself is quick — HubSpot ships connectors for ChatGPT and Claude, plus a hosted MCP server. What you're buying is everything around it: choosing the right approach for your setup, loading the business context that makes answers use your terminology, making specific tasks reliable against your real records, and training the team so it gets used. If the native connector alone covers your needs, we'll tell you that in the assessment.

ChatGPT or Claude?

Both are supported. The base engagement deploys one primary workspace — the one your team actually works in — because duplicating configuration, exercises and troubleshooting across two environments doubles cost without doubling value. We add a second environment when there's a business reason.

Can the AI change our CRM data?

Only in the ways we agree. Use cases are built with read access plus specific, previewed write actions — a drafted note, task or property update your team reviews before it's confirmed. Outbound sending stays outside the default scope, and we train the team on the difference between a drafted action, a confirmed change and a change verified in HubSpot.

What do we need to have in place?

A working HubSpot portal, a named internal owner, and a pilot team with real recurring work. If the assessment finds data or process problems that would undermine the use cases, we'll flag what needs repairing first rather than building on sand.

What happens after handover?

Your internal owner maintains the context and prompts, onboards new users and decides when a workflow is safe to expand. The sprint includes a defined coaching allowance and the 30-day review; additional use cases, departments or portals are scoped separately.

Do we need custom MCP development?

Usually not to start. HubSpot's own connectors and remote MCP server cover most team use cases. Custom development is justified when the assessment finds a real capability gap — not as a default line item.
