ChatGPT + HubSpot: from page metrics to an unpublished landing-page draft

A three-prompt workflow: review landing-page performance with exact HubSpot metric names, draft new copy from verified customer questions and an approved offer brief, then create an unpublished draft page in HubSpot for review.

When to use it

Sales knows the questions that slow a deal, marketing has evidence on what attracts interest, and service knows what confuses customers after they buy. This workflow brings that into one specific page. The third prompt uses the connector's landing-page creation action, which depends on your account; confirm your template, form and draft-creation support before relying on it.

Prompt 1: find the page worth investigating

A page with plenty of traffic and few enquiries is worth a look. Asking for exact HubSpot metric names and definitions stops the model from blending views, sessions and submissions into a single vague number.

Using the HubSpot connector, review the published landing pages associated with [CAMPAIGN] during [DATE RANGE]. For each page show the available traffic, submission and conversion metrics using their exact HubSpot names and definitions. Flag pages with too little volume to judge. Suggest one page to investigate further, explain the evidence, and state what the metrics cannot tell us about why visitors are not converting. Make no changes to any page.

Prompt 2: draft the copy from customer evidence

Feed it the verified customer questions from the conversation and an approved offer brief. Restricting it to approved claims and asking it to mark missing proof keeps the draft honest and easy to review.

Using the verified customer questions from this conversation and the approved offer brief below, draft a landing page for [AUDIENCE] promoting [OFFER]. Include a headline, supporting copy, a benefits section, an FAQ that answers the documented customer questions, and one primary call to action. Use only the claims in the brief. Mark any proof point, number or detail we still need to supply with [NEEDS PROOF]. Show the copy in chat first; do not create anything in HubSpot yet.

Prompt 3: create the unpublished draft in HubSpot

Approve the page setup, open the editor or preview, and confirm the page is unpublished. Then review it in context: layout, mobile view, form, and where submissions go before it goes live.

Prepare a new HubSpot landing-page draft called [PAGE NAME] using the existing template [TEMPLATE NAME] and the reviewed copy above. Use the existing form [FORM NAME] if the action supports it. Show me the full page setup (name, template, form, URL slug, copy placement) for approval before creating anything. Create it only after I approve, leave it unpublished, and return the editor or preview link.

How to use it

  1. 1Run prompt 1 with a real campaign and date range. Open the suggested page in HubSpot and check the same metrics.
  2. 2Collect the verified customer questions from your sales, marketing and service workflows and paste the approved offer brief into prompt 2.
  3. 3Review the copy. Point to at least one FAQ that answers an actual documented question.
  4. 4Run prompt 3, approve the setup, open the draft, and check layout, mobile view, form and submission routing before publishing.

Tips

  • Confirm template, form and draft-creation support in your account before filming a demo or promising this to a team.
  • If creation fails, keep the reviewed copy and hand it into HubSpot manually; the value is in the evidence-based copy.
  • Decide how you will measure the page before it goes live: which form, which lifecycle change, which report.
  • The landing-page action does not mean every website or blog editing action is available. Check what your account exposes.
