HubSpot announced a major platform update at UNBOUND 26 on September 16, introducing a self-updating Smart CRM, a rebuilt Breeze Assistant and Marketing Studio. The releases aim to reduce the work between understanding a customer, deciding what to do next and taking action.
For teams running HubSpot, the practical changes span campaign creation, prospecting, meeting capture, deal follow-up and customer support. HubSpot’s launch announcement puts shared business and customer information at the centre of those capabilities.
A CRM that captures more of the work automatically
The new Smart CRM can capture and sync calls, emails and meetings automatically. Alongside it, Context Home gives teams a view of the information powering HubSpot’s AI, including a completeness score and gaps to address.
HubSpot calls this foundation Growth Context: knowledge about the business, its customers and its team. For revenue operations teams, its value will depend on whether that information accurately reflects how the company works.
Breeze becomes the starting point for getting work done
The rebuilt Breeze Assistant can take a request and coordinate agents to produce campaign plans, proposals and reports. Teams can describe what they need in ordinary language, with the work informed by their CRM.
Marketing Studio connects planning, content and nurture
The new workspace brings marketing agents together through Breeze. Campaign Agent develops the plan, Content Agent creates assets, and Nurture Agent personalizes emails for individual contacts.
The intended benefit is a shorter path from identifying a marketing problem to acting on it. Teams can coordinate campaigns and content in one workspace while retaining the customer information behind those decisions. HubSpot’s event press kit describes Marketing Studio as the shared home for building and nurturing demand.
Sales updates connect prospecting, meetings and follow-up
The upgraded Prospecting Agent monitors buying signals, assesses target accounts and prepares personalized outreach. The new Mobile Notetaker captures remote and in-person meetings. Deal Progression uses conversations to recommend next steps, draft follow-ups and prepare CRM updates for approval.
These changes address a familiar problem: useful information from customer conversations failing to reach the pipeline or the next interaction. Sales release details.
Customer Agent expands the service experience
HubSpot’s fall showcase includes automated support across chat, email, voice and social. Responses draw on purchase and support history, with context passed to a person when an issue needs human attention. Customer Agent announcement.
New channels bring AI discovery into campaign reporting
HubSpot announced a ChatGPT Ads integration for creating, managing and measuring campaigns inside the CRM. The integration connects advertising activity to leads and closed deals.
The updated ChatGPT connector also supports more work from within ChatGPT, including email campaigns, landing pages and deal analysis. An accompanying AI Growth Bundle combines HubSpot Starter and Credits with a ChatGPT Business seat and ChatGPT Ads. HubSpot and OpenAI announcement.
Microsoft Advertising joins HubSpot’s campaign tools, while the company’s What’s New page also highlights Reddit Ads, Claude and Microsoft Copilot integrations.
The broader fall offering includes agents, revenue tools and AEO
Several products featured alongside the event arrived earlier in 2026. Agent Hub and Agent Builder were introduced in July, providing a central place to manage agents and create custom ones using business instructions and CRM data. Agent Hub is included in paid HubSpot editions; custom agents use HubSpot Credits. Agent Hub details.
Revenue Hub, introduced in June, brings quoting, contracts, billing and payments together. Contracts connect the initial sale to amendments and renewals, although some connected billing capabilities require beta enrollment. Revenue Hub announcement, contract availability.
HubSpot AEO, still labelled beta, tracks brand visibility and citations across AI answer engines and connects findings to content recommendations. Redesigned CRM views also provide cleaner layouts for contacts, companies and deals. AEO details, CRM updates.
Builders get more ways to extend HubSpot
The developer release expands the actions available to external AI tools through HubSpot’s MCP server. It also includes Agent CLI for bulk operations, a Lovable integration for building connected apps, asset portability between accounts and SQL access through HubSQL. Several capabilities remain in public or private beta. Developer release details.
What this means for your HubSpot setup
For Superwork, the implementation priority is clear: choose a specific process, establish who owns it, and test the new capabilities against real work. Campaign production, meeting follow-up and contract renewals offer concrete places to start.
More automation makes clear data definitions, permissions and ownership more valuable. Those foundations determine whether a faster process produces work the team can trust.
